The Lazio-based athlete from Team Oxyburn secured a fine victory in the seventh edition of the CorriSperlonga, repeating last year’s win; Re Giorgio Calcaterra finished third.

On Sunday, February 21, Sperlonga was decked out in orange, white, and black… Carmine Buccilli hadn’t won a race in a few weeks. That victory finally came on Sunday, February 21, during the seventh edition of the CorriSperlonga, a 10K road race held in the province of Latina, where the strong Lazio-based athlete from Team Oxyburn, wearing his trusty Oxyburn 1480 Running Track III° Level Performance Compression tights, take the top step of the podium with a time of 31’07”, finishing 32” ahead of Tayeb Filali of ADS Centro Fitness Montello and the evergreen Re Giorgio Calcaterra, who finished third, 2’23” behind the ASD Corrialvito athlete.
Carmine Buccilli, the 2015 winner, put on a great race, who ran with great intensity along the charming, completely undulating course of the CorriSperlonga, which, in this 2016 edition, drew nearly six hundred participants, effectively becoming one of Lazio’s most anticipated classic races. The competition is also part of the Grande Slam Gold Stage Circuit.
