We were there for you, and you rewarded us with your smiles and your hard work, with your determination and your drive to reach the finish line. It was a pleasure to answer your questions and address your curiosity about our products at our booth in the Tre Campanili Village, and then to admire and celebrate the official race pacers, all dressed in black, with the now-legendary 5050 Twenty-one. What a group: united, tight-knit, and always ready to help keep the race pace high and steady.

And then there was him, our champion and exceptional brand ambassador, Said Boudalia. A great champion, one of the world’s strongest marathon runners in his age group, who increasingly appreciates the benefits of compression—and with good reason, given his new certifications in massage therapy and physical therapy, in addition to his status as a top-level athlete. Yesterday he finished third in 1h30’09”, behind two true champions: Petro Shaku Mamu, the 2012 world mountain running champion, who won the race in 1h22’57”, and Robert Surum, the 2014 winner. “It was hotter and more tiring than ever today,” Said commented, “but honestly, with the compression socks, I felt lighter when pushing uphill and much better protected from the impacts during the long descent in the second half.
