TULLINS, FRANCE – Sixth at the Seregno 100-Kilometer Race on March 26, 2017, and third yesterday, Sunday, April 9, at the 24 Heures de l’Isère, a track endurance race held in Tullins: this is Ilaria Fossati, one of the top ultra runners in Italy—and beyond. As usual, Ilaria raced wearing the graduated compression apparel created by Oxyburn, choosing black and green for this race.

For her top, Ilaria wore a 5055 Forty-Two, a Dry-Tech top featuring a first level of compression; for shorts , she wore the 5012 Kylyàn with a second level of Energizer compression; and for long socks, a pair of 1340 Run Evosmart-Hd, which also feature a second level of graduated Energizer compression.
VALTELLINA – Emanuele Manzi, however, failed to make it onto the podium at the Valtellina Vertical Tube Race, a 1-kilometer vertical race featuring a 500-meter climb. In the race along the stairs that run alongside the hydroelectric plant, Emanuele, who has been an Oxyburn brand ambassador for years, achieved an excellent sixth-place finish in 14’49”, just 19” off the podium and 34” behind the day’s winner, the Italian Hannes Perkmann.

LIMONE, BRESCIA – Marta Fossati of the Tornado Team finished third at the BVG Trail in Limone del Garda on Saturday, April 8, a trail running race held on the Brescia side of Lake Garda: a 75k course with 4,400 meters of elevation gain between Limone and Salò, completed in 10 hours, 37 minutes, and 30 seconds along a scenic yet challenging up-and-down route. As usual, Marta ran wearing Oxyburn’s graduated compression base layer, along with the practical and functional light blue Oxy Buff.

SAN LAZZARO, TREVISO – A new Italian record, as well as a victory, for the Italian-Moroccan athlete Said Boudalia, whoon Sunday, April 9, at the 14th Treviso Track and Field Meet —a national track event counting toward the Regional Senior 10,000-meter Championship— he clocked an excellent 30’49” in the 10,000-meter race, beating the runner-up, Diego Avon, by a full 20”: “I used the Oxyburn long socks on the track as well,” Said said, “becausethey’re excellenthere too, especially for the massaging effect and post-race recovery!”
