TRAIL CALENDAR: EXPLORING THE TRAILS WITH OXYBURN, APRIL 23–25

The schedule of competitive trail running races planned for next weekend

They say one swallow doesn’t make a spring, but about twenty trail running races in just three days certainly seem to prove otherwise: there will be numerous races this weekend, covering a wide range of distances and elevation gains, with an extra treat in store thanks to the April 25 holiday on Monday. Here are Oxyburn’s recommendations on where to “climb” in Italy this coming weekend, starting with the first fascinating edition of the Venice Night Trail and ending with the Due Rocche ultratrail in Cornuda, Treviso.

SATURDAY, APRIL 23
In addition to the aforementioned Venice Night Trail—the first edition of an urban trail that will take participants on a journey through Venice by night across 51 bridges—the highlights will be the Tuscany Crossing in Castiglione d’Orcia, Siena, and the Laives Trail in Trento.
