After his victory in 2014 and third-place finish last year, the Italian-Moroccan athlete—who has lived in the Belluno area for years—once again took third place in the 2016 edition of the 30km Veneta race, beating the Moroccan runner Mokaraji in a sprint finish.
1h37’57” is the time with which Said Boudalia, a top athlete from Team Oxyburn, secured, on Sunday, April 10, third place overall in the 2016 edition of the Belluno Feltre Run, a classic 30-kilometer race won this year by Jean Baptiste Simukeka of Rwanda in 1h36’22”, followed thirty seconds later by Kenyan David Kiplagat Tum and by Said, who, with a spectacular sprint finish, edged out Moroccan Lahcen Mokaraji, who finished fourth.
With his third-place finish this year, the Belluno-based athlete sponsored by Oxyburn has confirmed the position he earned in 2015, which—along with his victory in 2014—shows that the Belluno Feltre Run is one of Said’s favorite races; he feels perfectly at home on these roads and with these ups and downs.
