Marco finished third after leading the race for three-quarters of the way, while Ivana narrowly missed the podium, finishing in an excellent fourth place

At the 40th edition of the Vallagarina International Cross Country Race, Italian runner Marco Salami—an Oxyburn brand ambassador since 2016—took third place on the podium at the prestigious Trentino cross-country race: After leading the first part of the race with confidence and determination, Salami faltered with two laps to go, allowing Kenyan Robert Ndiwa and Burundian Olivier Iribaruta to catch up and pass him.
In the women’s race, however, Italian triathlete Sara Dossena took the win, crossing the finish line ahead of Valeria Roffino and the favorite, Alemita Amara.
Ivana Iozzia, who has been one of Team Oxyburn’s top performers for years and finished fourth in Vallagarina, put in an excellent performance, even if she missed the podium.
