Marco Ferrari is the M40 Regional Masters Champion, while Ilaria Fossati placed third in Val Gandino, Ivana Iozzia placed third in Borgonuovo Savogno, and Said Boudalia placed seventh in the Cortina–Dobbiaco Run.

The Regional Individual and Club Master Mountain Running Championships held on Friday , June 2 , 2017 ,in Morbegno, in the province of Sondrio, were a great success. Marco Ferrari, an athlete with Atletica Paratico and brand ambassador for Oxyburn, was crowned Regional Master M40 Champion following his strong fourth-place finish the previous week at the Giro del Monte Zovo.

But there were many Oxyburn Ambassador athletes who competed and performed well this past weekend!
In the first edition of the Trail degli Altipiani, which took place between Val Gandino and the Clusone Plateau in the province of Bergamo, on Sunday, June 4, Maria Ilaria Fossati, the top ultratrailer from Atletica Bergamo Stars, finished third in the 61k race with a time of 8h27’51”, after running nearly half the race in heavy rain.

Ivana Iozzia also took an excellent third place in the Borgonuovo Savogno Time Trial finished an excellent third behind Angela Serena and Chiara Fumagalli: with a final time of 23’19”, the Corradini Rubiera athlete returned to the podium once again, missing second place by just 19”.

In the end, he didn’t make the podium, but he still achieved an outstanding seventh-place finish at the Cortina – Dobbiaco Run 30k for Said Boudalia, the Italian-Moroccan runner from the Cagliari Marathon Club, who, with a time of 1h43’25”, finished first in the SM45 category and was the second-fastest Italian behind Nekagenet Crippa.
