Sixth in the Seregno 100-Kilometer Race and third in the 24 Heures de l’Isèrein France: these are the latest two amazing results achieved by Ilaria Fossati, one of Italy’s top ultradistance and endurance runners. Because Ilaria loves long races—the kind where “you’re on your feet for eight, ten, twelve, or even twenty-four hours”… the kind of races reserved for only a select few athletes: strong and courageous men and women, endowed with a healthy dose of madness and with genetics on their side. What all of Ilaria’s races have in common, therefore, isn’t the distance or the terrain, but rather her technical apparel—Oxyburn, of course—and above all, one item in particular: the 5012 Kylyàn shorts. The flagship product of Oxyburn’s outdoor line, the 5012 Kylyàn is a pair of shorts featuring a second level of Energizer compression, made from Dry-Tech fabric, and particularly well-suited for temperatures ranging from 0° C to 32° C
Thanks to Dry Fast, an antibacterial fiber with a hollow structure that wicks sweat away from the body, the 5012 Kykyàn provides excellent thermoregulation, preventing sweat from remaining in contact with the skin even during very long races. The garment is complemented by an elastomeric fiber called Elastinext, which allows the fabric to stretch up to seven times its original size and return to its original shape perfectly.

Reactiva Cell technology, which gives the fabric’s texture a 3D effect, combined with Traspirya Cushioning Texture technology, improves the body’s breathability and heat dissipation, as well as providing a massaging effect on the muscles, which are free to stretch and expand thanks to Anatomical Free Muscle Extension—anatomically designed, highly elasticized muscle zones. Finally , the 5012 Kylyàn is available with horizontal bands and lime, light blue, gray, or cyclamen-colored stitching.
