WHERE TO GO RUNNING IN THE MOUNTAINS ON THE FIRST WEEKEND OF MAY

Oxyburn has some interesting suggestions on where to run trail races between Friday, May 5, and Sunday, May 7, even though the weather shows no sign of giving way to spring.

May 5, 6, and 7—the height of spring, though not in meteorological terms. Nothing too unusual, actually, since—as we’ve seen—during these very same days in 2016, the Italian Peninsula was hit by unseasonable rain and cold. It seems this will also be the case next weekend, with widespread bad weather across northern and central Italy… with conditions worsening specifically on the morning of Sunday, May 7. So? So our advice certainly isn’t to swap the race for a trip to the mall, but rather to be very careful during the race, dress appropriately, and bring a complete change of clothes to put on—no matter where you’re running—immediately after your workout. So let’s see where to run between Friday and Sunday with Oxyburn.
