11 minutes and 10 seconds: that’s how long it took Emanuele Manzi, a mountain running champion from Team Oxyburn, to climb the 86 floors of the Empire State Building in New York, where, on February 4, the 39th edition ofthe ESB Run-Up took place—a vertical race that drew as many as 200 athletes from around the world.
Emanuele Manzi isno stranger to these kinds of events, as he typically uses this type of race during the winter months to prepare for his spring and summer mountain races.
