January 24, 2016: Carmine Buccilli Finishes Second in the Tre Comuni Half Marathon

Oxyburn is back on the podium with Carmine Buccilli, who finished second in the Maratonina dei Tre Comuni in Civita Castellana: In fact, the 37th edition of the classic 22.5-kilometer winter race in Viterbo took place on Sunday, January 24, and saw the strong Lazio athlete from Team Oxyburn dominatethe race until the 20-kilometer mark, when he was overtaken on an uphill stretch by the Moroccan runner Jouad Zain.

It was an almost spring-like day on Sunday in Civita Castellana, with Buccilli taking the lead right from the start and crossing the finish line just four seconds ahead of the rest: as has become customary, accompanying Carmine’s winning performances were his inseparable Oxyburn 1480—graduated compression socks featuring a third level of Performance Compression, made from Dry Fast, Duralon, and Elastinext, and specifically designed to maintain the right temperature in the calves and improve performance during running races.
