The three-day Sardinia Trail will take place between Friday 12th and Sunday 14th May. This Sardinian ultra trail race will cover a distance of 100km and climb 4,000 metres in altitude. The Trail Adventure Lakes 66 will also take place over the same three days. This off-road race will cover a distance of 66km and will take place within the Secchia River Park .

In Sovicille, Siena, the second Val di Merse Ultramarathon Trail, a trail running race featuring a Ultramarathon Trail of 52k with 1,081 meters of elevation gain, a 42k marathon with 850 meters of elevation gain, a 20k half marathon with 425 meters of elevation gain, and a 10k Nordic walking race with 204 meters of elevation gain.

Also on Saturday, May 13, at 7:30 p.m., the Fornacione Night Trail, a trail running race for pairs covering a 21k course with 1,000 meters of elevation gain, which will take place entirely on dirt roads, singletrack, and mule trails through the hills of the Scandiano area.

In Gemona del Friuli, the Trail 3 Castelli, a non-competitive, semi-self-supported mountain race featuring two courses: a Long Course of 50.9 km with 3,970 meters of elevation gain, and a Short Course of 25 km with 1,860 meters of elevation gain.
Also on Saturday, the 13th, at 7:00 p.m. in Candia Canavese, Turin, everything is set for theErbaluce Night Trail , which—with a 32k course featuring 700 meters of elevation gain—will pass through the municipalities of Caluso, Barone, Mercenasco, Montalenghe, Orio, and Barone Canavese, the territories of the Erbaluce DOCG region.
Between 8:30 and 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, May 14, the sixth edition of theMonti della Tolfa Trail Eco-Marathonwill get underway, featuring a 42k race with 1,200 meters of elevation gain and a 16k trail race with 500 meters of elevation gain: both courses will pass through the Fosso di Costa Grande valley.
The third edition of the Madruk Trail will kick off from the heart of Vittorio Veneto, in the Fenderl area, on May 14, 2017. In 2016, more than 300 athletes retraced, kilometer by kilometer, the legendary story of King Matrucco and his daughter Augusta, passing through some of the most enchanting spots in the Venetian Pre-Alps: In addition to the classic 23-kilometer course with 1,500 meters of elevation gain, this year will also feature a non-competitive 7Run covering 7 kilometers with 270 meters of elevation gain.

The 23k race, with 1,650 meters of elevation gain, will be the highlight of the sixth edition of the Segredont Skyrace, in Val Venosta: new for 2017, this year’s course has been reversed.
Still on the topic of Skyraces, theSkyrace 4 Passi in Casa Nostra, a 22k race with 1,600 meters of elevation gain.
