Join Oxyburn as we explore the most fascinating mountain races of the last weekend in October

This coming weekend promises to be packed with mountain races, featuring trail runs, ultratrails, skyruns, and vertical races spread out across the entire peninsula, from Piedmont to Sicily. Among the most anticipated events is the Trail Monte Casto in Andorno Micca, in the Biella area, which will feature a 21k course with 900 meters of elevation gain, a 9k mini trail, and a 46k ultra course with 2,200 meters of elevation gain.
Also beautiful and well-attended is the Trail dei Monti Sicani in Palazzo Adriano, in the Palermo area, which will be the fifteenth stage of the Ecotrail Sicilia Circuit and will feature a short 11k walktrail and a 25k trail starting at 10:00 a.m. from the Enel power plant in San Carlo.

Taking advantage of the holiday, you can also run in the mountains on Monday 1 November, where the Monte Morello Skytrail stands out, a 24k with a positive difference in altitude of 1,590 metres included in the Firenze Sky Trail 2016 Circuit which will start from Piazzale Leonardo, in Sesto Fiorentino.
