Just a few, very few… That’s the margin that separated Mohamed Hajjy, a Moroccan runner from Atletica Castenaso Celtic Druid, and Carmine Buccilli, the Roman athlete from Atletica Casone Noceto and a long-time Oxyburn Ambassador, at the finish line. The race? The Valentine’s Day Marathon in Terni, which took place this morning, Sunday, February 19, 2017. And so, on a beautiful day , Carmine stepped onto the podium for the second time in 2017, taking second place with a time of 2 hours, 19 minutes, and 26 seconds: behind him, but a world away, was Rachid Benhamdane of ASD Dinamo Sport, who finished third in 2h24’11”, a full 5 minutes and 10 seconds behind Buccilli.“My Oxyburn socks? There’s no way I could forget them at home. Why? Because I simply always have them on!” he said after the race.
