The top Italian ultramarathon runner achieved an excellent result in the 177-km Grand Raid Golfe du Morbihan in France at the end of June

Third place, behind Szilvia Lubics and Laurence Chevalier: At the 12th edition of the Grand Raid Golfe du Morbihan, Maria Ilaria Fossati, an ultramarathon runner for Team Oxyburn, secured an excellent third-place finish in what the athlete herself described as “the most, most, most everything race I’ve ever tackled! “The Grand Raid has sensationally jumped to the top of my personal rankings.”
Routed entirely around the Gulf of Morbihan, between Loomariaquer and Port-Navalo, the race consisted of a single 177-kilometer stage, which Ilaria tackled with determination and her usual smile. As always, she wore Oxyburn graduated compression clothing, which is especially excellent for long endurance races—those in which athletes are forced to stay in the same clothes for many hours: it is in these situations that Oxyburn’s fabric technology truly shines, thanks to the body’s thermoregulation resulting from the garments’ excellent breathability.
