If you can\u2019t seem to find the right time to go for a run or a bike ride, here are a few ideas for working out without suffering too much from the heat and for maintaining your aerobic fitness and muscle tone. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">1- ACTIVE FUNCTIONAL TRAINING<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-2866\" src=\"https:\/\/www.oxyburn.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/esercizi-in-pista-1-scaled.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"589\" height=\"392\"><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">All it takes is a little shade!<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">  <\/span>It&#8217;s not easy to find cool places to train in the summer, so in this case, 100\u2013150 meters is enough.  <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">Here&#8217;s an example of a workout to try:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"li3\"><span class=\"s1\">10\u201315 minutes of light running, incorporating some free variations (30 seconds of fast running every minute and a half, for example)<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li3\"><span class=\"s1\">10 x 100-meter sprints with a 30-second rest between each one<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li3\"><span class=\"s1\">A circuit of bodyweight exercises consisting of a strength test <a href=\"https:\/\/plus.google.com\/photos\/photo\/107732279440234469969\/6286018824057276402?icm=false\">(find inspiration for the exercises here)<\/a> and a 100-meter sprint. Rest for 3 minutes after every 4 stations, and repeat 3 or 4 times. <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">2- VERTICAL TRAINING<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-2867\" src=\"https:\/\/www.oxyburn.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/corsa-sulle-scale-scaled.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"581\" height=\"387\"><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">If you&#8217;re short on time, choose a very steep trail that you can use for a brisk hike or a run through the city.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">If you choose to run, find a staircase that\u2019s long enough\u2014by the time you reach the top, you\u2019ll have already warmed up. Use the stairs to repeat various exercises, such as sprinting, jumping with both feet, or hopping on one foot. Take a break after every 8 minutes of running up the stairs.  <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">3 &#8211; SWIMMING<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-2868\" src=\"https:\/\/www.oxyburn.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/piscina.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"590\" height=\"393\"><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">Lake, ocean, or pool\u2014make the most of the water.
