{"id":71687,"date":"2016-06-13T16:01:24","date_gmt":"2016-06-13T14:01:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.oxyburn.it\/blog\/marta-poretti-finishes-second-in-the-103k-race-in-the-dolomites\/"},"modified":"2016-06-13T16:01:24","modified_gmt":"2016-06-13T14:01:24","slug":"marta-poretti-finishes-second-in-the-103k-race-in-the-dolomites","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.oxyburn.it\/en\/blog\/marta-poretti-finishes-second-in-the-103k-race-in-the-dolomites\/","title":{"rendered":"MARTA PORETTI FINISHES SECOND IN THE 103K RACE IN THE DOLOMITES"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"pos-subtitle\">At the Dolomiti Extreme Trail on Friday, June 10, and Saturday, June 11, the top ultra-trail runner Marta Poretti finished second behind Lisa Borzani, overcoming the rain and cold that plagued the entire second half of the race.<\/p>\n<p class=\"pos-subtitle\"><!--more--><\/p>\n<p class=\"pos-subtitle\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-1769 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.oxyburn.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/MartaDolomiti_758f4d415b31e915dd4f1d17d7121f3f-1-1-300x204.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"204\"><\/p>\n<p><strong>18h36&#8217;21&#8221;<\/strong>: that\u2019s the outstanding time with which <strong>Marta Poretti<\/strong>, an ultratrailer from Team Oxyburn, finished in <strong>second place\u2014and 32nd overall\u2014in the 103k Dolomiti Extreme Trail in Forno di Zoldo<\/strong>, a grueling race featuring <strong>7,150 meters of elevation gain and 7,060 meters of elevation loss<\/strong>, made even tougher by <strong>the rain that accompanied all the athletes from the halfway point onward, beginning to fall heavily around 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, the 11th<\/strong>. Ahead of her was only Lisa Borzani, who won bronze in the team event at last year\u2019s Ultra Trail World Championships in Annecy. The bad weather had, in fact, already negatively impacted the race, forcing the organizers to cancel part of the course\u2014specifically, the ascent to Mount Tivan\u2014because there was too much snow at high altitudes.  <\/p>\n<p>The athlete, accustomed to feats and distances of this kind, <strong>ran the entire race wearing\u2014as has become her custom\u2014Oxyburn graduated compression gear, which proved particularly well-suited for this ultra-trail race, both because of the length of the course and the heavy rain that soaked the athletes<\/strong>: Thanks to <strong>Oxyburn\u2019s materials<\/strong>, Marta crossed the finish line <strong>without experiencing any physical discomfort or irritation from the clothing, which\u2014being lightweight and breathable\u2014remained comfortable throughout the entire 18-and-a-half-hour race<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>At the Dolomiti Extreme Trail on Friday, June 10, and Saturday, June 11, the top ultra-trail runner Marta Poretti finished&hellip;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":71690,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[1],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-71687","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-senza-categoria"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.9 -
