{"id":71680,"date":"2016-07-11T15:02:48","date_gmt":"2016-07-11T13:02:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.oxyburn.it\/blog\/trail-running-races-between-july-15-and-17\/"},"modified":"2016-07-11T15:02:48","modified_gmt":"2016-07-11T13:02:48","slug":"trail-running-races-between-july-15-and-17","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.oxyburn.it\/en\/blog\/trail-running-races-between-july-15-and-17\/","title":{"rendered":"TRAIL RUNNING RACES BETWEEN JULY 15 AND 17"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"pos-subtitle\">Starting with the weekends of the Dolomites Vertical Kilometer and the Bettelmatt International Skyrace\u2014which this year will feature the BUT, an 83k race with 5,000 meters of elevation gain\u2014not to mention the beautiful Pantelleria Trail and the Transcivetta Karpos team race<\/p>\n<p class=\"pos-subtitle\"><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-1719 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.oxyburn.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/verde-300x212.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"212\"><\/p>\n<p>Although there won\u2019t be many trail running races this weekend\u2014at least compared to previous weekends\u2014there will still be plenty of fun to be had! The center of the Italian trail running scene will be Canazei, in the province of Trento, where a true trail running festival will take place from July 15 to 17: It kicks off on Friday with the 2.5k <strong>Dolomites Vertical Kilometer<\/strong>, featuring a 1,000-meter elevation gain, continues on Saturday with the <strong>mini trail for kids<\/strong>, and wraps up on Sunday with the <strong>Dolomites Skirace<\/strong>, a 22k course featuring singletrack, ski runs, and scree slopes with an elevation gain of 1,750 meters. <\/p>\n<p>Alongside the <strong>Night Vertical at Belli Venti<\/strong> in Arenzano, in the province of Genoa\u2014a 5.2k race with 920 meters of elevation gain\u2014 on Saturday the 16th and Sunday the 17th, the <strong>Bettelmatt Trail<\/strong> will also take place, featuring a 33k <strong>Skyrace<\/strong> with 2,000 meters of elevation gain, a 22k <strong>race<\/strong> with 750 meters of elevation gain, and, new for 2016 to celebrate the race\u2019s tenth anniversary\u2014dedicated to the famous local cheese\u2014the <strong>Bettelmatt Ultra Trail, BUT\u2014an 82k race with a total elevation gain of 5,000 meters that will take runners through three valleys and eight alpine pastures<\/strong>, all along a route that remains between 2,300 and 2,700 meters in elevation at all times.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, on Sunday, July 17, the <strong>Transcivetta Karpos<\/strong>\u2014a 23.5-kilometer team trail running race with 1,950 meters of elevation gain\u2014will take place in Listolade, Belluno;<strong>the Alpicella Trail<\/strong> in Piandelagotti, a 24k race with 1,300 meters of elevation gain; the <strong>Valle Elvo Skyrunning<\/strong> in Sordevolo, Biella, a 12-kilometer race with 1,650 meters of elevation gain, the <strong>Pantelleria Trail<\/strong> on the island of the same name\u2014featuring a 50-kilometer race with 2,230 meters of elevation gain and a 21-kilometer race with 880 meters of elevation gain\u2014the <strong>Classic Trail Torcole<\/strong> in Piazzatorre, Bergamo, a 23k race with 2,029 meters of elevation gain and a 12k race with 1,000 meters of elevation gain; and the <strong>Bettona Country Half Marathon<\/strong> in Bettona, Perugia\u2014a half marathon with 450 meters of elevation gain.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Starting with the weekends of the Dolomites Vertical Kilometer and the Bettelmatt International Skyrace\u2014which this year will feature the BUT,&hellip;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":71682,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[1],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-71680","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-senza-categoria"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.9 -
