She was supported by<strong>Oxyburn\u2019s graduated compression apparel<\/strong>, which accompanies her in every race: the technical garments from the Brescia-based company are, in fact, <strong>particularly well-suited for long and ultra-long distances, as they feature technology that keeps runners dry and comfortable for many hours<\/strong>. \u201cIt was possible to run on Saturday night,\u201d Ilaria explained after the race\u2014just one week after she had struggled greatly, especially on the uphills, during the Bettelmatt Ultra Trail\u2014\u201cthe Scuron Night Trail Marathon was a race better suited to my abilities.\u201d  <\/p>\n<p>And while Ilaria was resting after a grueling night, <strong>Sunday morning belonged to Said Boudalia<\/strong>: the Italian-Moroccan athlete, one of <strong>Team Oxyburn\u2019s<\/strong> top performers <strong>, secured an excellent second-place finish at La Enego Marcesina<\/strong> after a neck-and-neck battle\u2014which lasted for most of the race\u2014with Faniel Eyob Ghebrehiwet, who crossed the finish line just one second ahead of him: \u201cIt was a very aggressive sprint,\u201d Said commented after the race, visibly satisfied with his outstanding performance, \u201cwith the final kilometer run in 2&#8217;28&#8221; against an exceptional athlete.\u201d To begin recovering from fatigue immediately, Said kept his <strong>Oxyburn<\/strong> socks on even after the race: <strong>the sock\u2019s exoskeleton supports the muscles, providing a massaging effect that helps the muscle fibers relax more quickly<\/strong>. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ilaria Fossati wins the Scuron Night Trail Marathon with a new race record; Said Boudalia takes second place at La&hellip;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":71660,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[1],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-71658","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-senza-categoria"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.9 -
